Rovaniemi, Finland Day 1
The trip to Rovaniemi was long, took train from Turku to Tampere, Tampere to Oulu, then Oulu to Rovaniemi.
Rovaniemi is located at the Arctic Circle and is home to Santa Claus and a military base. Town was largely destroyed during World War II.

Road to my Hotel. Got lost on the way to the tour. After I asked for directions, nice lady walked me to her house, cleaned ice off her car and drove me to the tour. Her husband happened by chance to be one of the tour group's owners.
Town Center. Had to eat at Subway, since there was an hour wait at the restaurants. The cost for the Veggie Delight was 4.50.

Night one search for Northern Lights. Was at Reindeer farm, saw the northern lights on top of the frozen river. This is the fire from the tour.
